The M57 Pilum Assault Weapon appears in Halo 5: Guardians alongside its mythic predecessor, the M41 'SPNKr' rocket launcher.
It was featured in the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta on the maps Pegasus and Regret. Before the beta, it was originally supposed to be featured on Eden, as seen in pre release screenshots, but didn't make an appearance until later. In the final game, it makes an appearance on Coliseum, Eden and Pegasus.
