The Battle of Assembly also known as The Sorrow of Assembly Forge or The Hour of Sorrow was a massive engagement, that took place during the final hours of Viral Day, on Halo 3's Map Assembly, between the remaining Xbox Live Players and Moderators against Chaos of Halo 3's Xbox Live Server.
The Battle ended as the largest blow to both Microsoft, and Bungie, which led to the fragging of the highest number of Moderators, and the further elimination of Xbox Live Players on Halo 3.
The Battle was also a personal tragedy as well, as Tanya Bladedancer gave up her own Xbox Live Account in order to save her boyfriend Aeons Windspear, during this one engagement. The Battle of Assembly would also forever haunt RagingSun6989, as he too witnessed the fragging of the young girl.
